VizaGo uses technical and organisational safeguards to protect sensitive client information, including AES-256 encryption for information stored in the VizaGo Secure Vault.
Purpose
This policy explains how VizaGo protects the personal information, documents, and account data provided by clients using our visa, university admission, and related consultancy services.
AES-256 encryption
Client personal information and documents stored in the VizaGo Secure Vault are protected using AES-256 encryption. Secure connections are used where technically applicable when information is transmitted between clients and our systems.
Personal Secure Vault
Each client can access a personal document vault. It is designed to let clients upload, view, and reuse documents for future visa, admission, or travel processes without repeatedly sending the same sensitive files.
Document retention
Vault documents may remain stored for the lifetime of the client’s VizaGo account so they can be reused, subject to applicable law, technical requirements, account status, and any valid deletion request.
Client control and access
- Access only your own vault through your authorised account.
- Protect your login credentials and authentication methods.
- Notify VizaGo immediately if you believe your account or vault access has been compromised.
- Staff access is limited to authorised personnel who require the information to provide the requested service.
Information we protect
- Passport, national identity card, and other identity documents.
- Academic certificates, transcripts, degrees, and language-test results.
- Employment, business, professional, sponsorship, and financial records.
- Visa history, refusal letters, travel history, and immigration records.
- Contact details, application notes, and payment information.
Official communication
Our official support email is help@vizago.app. Verify any request for sensitive information before sending documents.
Passwords and banking credentials
VizaGo does not require your online-banking password, card PIN, email password, or one-time authentication code. Never disclose these credentials to anyone claiming to represent VizaGo.
Sharing with third parties
Where required to provide a service, selected information may be shared with universities, embassies, immigration authorities, visa centres, translators, insurers, medical providers, payment providers, or other relevant third parties.
Internal security controls
Access to client information is role-based. Sensitive documents must not be stored on unauthorised devices or public sharing links. Strong passwords and multi-factor authentication are used where available.
Security incidents
If VizaGo becomes aware of a material security incident affecting client information under our control, we will take reasonable steps to contain and investigate it and notify affected clients where appropriate or legally required.
No absolute security guarantee
Encryption and other safeguards materially improve security, but no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. VizaGo cannot promise that unauthorised access, cyberattacks, or technical failures will never occur.
